When you’re logging long miles with a camper, you need gear that keeps everything steady. These TorkLift tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame—the strongest part of the chassis—so your camper weight is evenly distributed and the center of gravity stays low. These tie-downs bolt straight onto pre-existing holes in your frame so there’s little to no drilling or modification needed. The brackets mount tight to the frame for a clean, custom fit with minimal loss of ground clearance. When you’re not hauling, remove the tie-down arms and the brackets practically disappear under the truck. They stay tucked up close to the frame so there’s no bulky hardware hanging down. Your truck keeps its clean look while staying ready for your next camping run.
Each arm offers two pin holes so you can extend it just enough to clear sidewalls or fenders while keeping perfect tension on your turnbuckles (sold separately). With two anchor holes on each tie-down plate, you can fine-tune the angles for a solid hold that keeps your camper locked in place mile after mile.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Torklift Talon custom front camper tie-down. This is going to provide the attachment points at the front of your truck bed to help secure your truck bed camper's turnbuckle. It'll just fit into these slots here to give you that tie-down point, so that you can make sure that your camper is gonna be nice and steady. Now, this is just the front two tie-downs.
You will also need the rear tie-downs. Those are sold separately, but you can find 'em here at etrailer.com. Now, these are going to be a custom fit for your 2019 and 2020 Ram 2500, either the 6 1/2-foot bed option or the crew cab with the 8-foot bed. These will also work with the 2019 and newer Ram 3500. All models will need a factory-installed hitch, isn't guaranteed to work with your aftermarket hitches.
Likewise, it may not work with some of your aftermarket boards or steps, so for that 3500, you will need the factory electric board under the cab or without a board or step for that 3500. These are a frame-mounted bracket, so they are gonna fit right to your truck frame. You're not gonna lose any ground clearance. And it being mounted to the truck's frame is going to ensure excellent handling for you. It securing to the base instead of up on the bed is going to help better distribute the weight of your camper to help keep the whole setup from being too top-heavy.
It's gonna make it a lot more secure and stable for you. They do include very detailed instructions to walk you through the installation process. You can see you've got images there to help you conceptualize and make sure that you're putting everything in the right place. So very detailed instructions make it very easy to get this installed. And of course, all of your hardware is included as well.
So we do have the rustproof and very lightweight aluminum alloy tie-down inserts that secure to your durable stainless steel receiver brackets. These just slide right in place there. So you can see, we've got two different holes that the pins will go through. So if your camper is a little bit wider, you'd use this first hole here to have that tie-down point stick out a little bit farther. If your camper is a little narrower, you can slide it in to that inner hole there. I mean, we'll just use the included pins, slide that through. That's going to secure it in place, give you that nice sturdy connection point there for your turnbuckles. And when you're not using your truck camper, you can just pull that pin out, remove that tie down insert, and then you've got a cap here that you can put over that opening. And these are going to be so close to your frame that you're really not gonna be able to see them. They're gonna be very discreet, so it's not gonna take away from the look of your truck at all. So unlike some of your other tie-down options that are always there, kind of an eyesore, these are gonna be really nice in that you can just pull that out. These are very easy to store under bench seat or in your camper, not gonna be too heavy or bulky, be very easy to store away. And then, this is gonna be a nice, finished look there on your truck's frame, so you're really not gonna see it whatsoever. Just pull that cap off, slide your tie-down attachment and put that pin in and you'll be ready to put or hook up your camper. So really nice option here. I really like this Torklift Talon system. While the original front frame mounted tie downs were the wrong part, etrailer made it right with a full refund even after I had installed them due to their error. The Torklift fast guns work as advertised. They were easy to assemble and are easy to use. The locks provided by Torklift work as advertised. I have purchased the frame-mounted tie downs for another pickup and they installed perfectly. I would highly recommend the Torklift products.
These camper tie downs are a bit spendy for what you are getting. That is the negative. On the positive side these tiedowns fit perfectly, and need no modifications, or hole expanding of any kind on this same shop day I also installed an airbag suspension. The airbag system( a different manufacture) had to have bend angles adjusted to allow the parts to fit as they should have. So, high marks for the TorkLift kit.
I went on trailer to get tie downs for my 2025 ram 3500. So many options so I called just to make sure I was getting the right ones , Joy helped me and it turned out I had the right ones but just knowing she was the professional took the stress out of the purchasing experience. The tie downs fit like a glove and took about two hours to install all 4 of them. The emergency brake was a pain but well worth the money I saved by having a shop install them. We have an Artic Fox camper on a F350 and both the tie downs the Fast Gun Turnbuckle are working flawlessly. They allow the camper to be securely fastened to the truck while allowing the camper to be offloaded with ease
I am a bit disappointed because the rear TorkLift tie down that you sent me was not what I ordered. You sent me the part for a Dodge Ram 350 not for 2022 Ford F250 diesel. The front tie down is the right part. I'm waiting for the returning label to be emailed to me to be able to send it back to you, and get the rear tie downs that I've ordered for 2022 F250 . My order arrived quickly and it appears to be good quality. The installation instructions are easy to follow.
To start, e-trailer has always been good to me and I have purchased from them many times. This product is well built and for that they would get high marks. The packaging was terrible! Heavy metal parts not adequately wrapped, thus one of arms punctured through the box. The plastic bag inside holding all parts is not adequately sealed (just a pinch seal like a ziplock bag) thus it opened up spilling contents all through the inside of box. When I went to pick it up from delivery, contents were spilling out all over. I photographed and notified e-trailer. I’d suggest better packaging and use box tape to seal the hardware bag.
They were easy to install, and it only took me about an hour and half to do it. A big Plus then you move the tie down bracket you can't see the frame brackets.
Great product! Fits perfect to the frame and very good quality materials. Even fit perfectly with my rock sliders.
Great product. Fit is tight and holes all lined up. Fronts went on really fast. Rear brackets required drilling for my application. Brackets are sturdy and solid. All welds looked great. Definitely recommend this product.
Fairly easy installation. Good instructions, but it helps to watch one of the YouTube videos first. With just the receivers, you can hardly even see them, they’re tucked underneath so well. Very sturdy. I feel very confident that no matter what, these babies will hold. They’re pricy, but well worth it.

Absolutely fit like a glove on our Ram truck. Disconnecting the emg. break was a challenge only because the tension nut was rusted. Other than that install was a breeze.
Order the kit. This is the second set I have ordered in the last few months. etrailer ships fast and makes sure you can track your shipments. Also notifies you every step of the way. I appreciate the follow through with keeping me informed at when my package will arrive. I tried to buy these direct from the manufacture but they wanted more than etrailer and I had to find back and front sets. They did not sell them in kits.
Also glad the etrailer doesn't play the game of shipping in the lower 48 states only BS, there are 50 official states ins the USA (51 if your counting Alberta)! Plus numerous US territories...
Second set of Torklift camper tiedown brackets I have purchased. 1999 Dodge 2500 and 2016 Ram 3500. Fit good. No drilling. I would buy again. Good product. (I am a certified ASME, AWS, API, welder and fabricator). No hype, just fact.
Not a good experience so far. Torklift product was defective and they sent the wrong size bolt fish wires. Took 3x as long to install as should have due to wrong size fish wires. Torklift is not very responsive on the solution to the defective part. Torklift did not drill one of the holes in the tie downs
After selling previous truck camper and getting a new truck these tie downs are outstanding. The direct fit for year make model is awesome. Takes the guess work out installation. The install instructions were really good as well as etrailers videos. etrailer is the great providing product install walk thru. The adjustability of these tie downs made my life easier when I picked up my new TLRV 8 foot truck camper.
Absolutely the only way to correctly attach your truck camper. Pair these white Fastguns and it’s a great combo. I just went on a 5000 mile trip with my TC and never moved an inch.
I did a lot of research to find the right kind of frame mounts for my dads truck. Lots of local RV places didn't even know what I was looking for, or quoted me for the wrong parts. I ordered this kit for my 2018 Ford F150 'Heavy Half' regular cab, long bed pickup.
